Two Girls Down ~ An Addictive New Series

When Ms. Luna reached out to me to offer up her books, she mentioned a character who loved sugar so much that she put maple syrup on her Frosted Flakes.  I was immediately hooked by the idea and then absolutely floored by the talent between the pages.

Book Review

Two Girls Down

4.7/5

Teen sisters, Kylie and Bailey, have been missing for 48 hours. The small town police force is overwhelmed and has found nothing. Enter Alice Vega, badass missing persons PI.

This book was fantastic! I am so excited about Lana’s work! This is a fast paced, thrill ride and is exactly what a thriller should be. (Dare I mention Bosch??) I ate up Two Girls Down like a starving man. I couldn’t get enough. I absolutely loved the reading of body language, the deductions and multiple jaw dropping twists. Great well-rounded characters had depth and facets. I felt like I knew them but I wasn’t bored getting to know them which often happens in the first book of a series. I didn’t want to stop reading but I also didn’t want the book to end.

Luna is officially an automatic buy author for me.

Audiobook Review Gilbert hit the smooth coldness of Alice Vega and the winsome wittiness that emanates from Cap. She had great character definition and timing.

You can buy Two Girls Down (and the sequel, The Janes) here from Amazon or you can also choose to support local bookstores by purchasing it from Bookshop although I highly recommend listening to this book! You can buy the audio version at Libro.fm here.
