The Midnight Library Book Review ~ A Book Club Gem

I highly recommend this to all book clubs. I’m so glad that I read this book with a group of people with whom I could discuss some heavy topics.

Book Review

The Midnight Library

4.5/5

What if you could go through a library in which each book was a different one of your lives? Each one a reflection of different choices you make on a daily basis?

Nora wakes up in a library of possibilities. I found The Midnight Library to be a profound book with heartfelt, philosophical vibes. The character arc in this book was original and thought provoking. The writing is free flowing and enticing.

I highly recommend reading The Midnight Library for anyone but particularly for book clubs. The potential discussion is limitless.

Also, I must mention that I loved the spinning shelves and Nora being transported through different lives. This was a very cinematic read and I will patiently await this adaptation to film. Just throwing that thought out there.

Audiobook Review The Midnight Library was beautifully read by Carey Mulligan. She showed great pace, timing and was extremely emotive. Also, I’m a sucker for great accents!

You can buy The Midnight Library here from Amazon or you can also choose to support local bookstores by purchasing it from Bookshop although I highly recommend listening to this book! You can buy the audio version at Libro.fm here.
