Nerdy Pizza Sauce
This pizza sauce has been honed over many hundreds of family pizza nights! It’s always a hit and when company comes they almost always request this recipe. I hope you enjoy!! 1 can tomato sauce 1 can tomato paste 6 oz warm water 4 tsp garlic, minced 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 2 tbsp honey 2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp marjoram 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cayenne Combine all ingredients and use as desired. I also recommend my pizza crust.

Pizza Crust 1 packet instant dry yeast 1/2 t brown sugar 1 1/2 cups warm water 2 t salt 2 T olive oil 3 1/2 cups flour Combine yeast, sugar and warm water. Let sit until it becomes bubbly, about 10 minutes. Add the salt and oil. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Let rise, about 45 minutes to 2 hours. Nerdy Tip take the temperature of the water- too hot water kills the yeast, too cold and it won’t activate. 110 degrees is ideal and worth measuring. I’m not sure which genius invented these but they are absolutely perfect for serving to your loved ones! The best part is you can tailor them to your tastes! There are many steps to this one if you want to make these from scratch. For the sake of ease, I’ll post the main recipe first.
