    These rich and moist custard pastries have crunchy carmelized shells that give a satisfying CRACK when you bite into them. Originating in Bordeaux, I personally had never heard of, let alone tried, canelés. My life has been seriously enriched with the discovery! Ingredients 2 tsp vanilla 2 1/4 cup milk 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 3 1/2 Tbsp butter, melted 1 egg 3 egg yolks 4 Tbsp whiskey 1 Tbsp beeswax 4 Tbsp butter You will need canalé molds.     Rich and filling, this soup will comfort the soul and it’s also pretty enough for serving company during cool weather. It’s also vegetarian friendly.     Madame Babineau’s Lavender Honey

    This honey smells so divine. I love adding it to my morning Earl Grey tea.  24 hour prep time, 15 mins cook time, makes 1 cup Ingredients 2 Tbsp lavender blossoms  1 cup honey Heat honey until thinned. Stir in lavender. Pour into a container (I used a mason jar) and cover at room temperature for 24 hours. Warm again and strain.  Nerdy Facts lavender is believed to have so many health benefits including being anti-inflammatory, helping with digestive issues and relieving pain.     This is a super easy and fresh lunch or dinner idea. 15 minute prep time, serves 4. Ingredients 10oz canned tuna 1 English cucumber, diced 2 medium avocados, diced 4 stalks celery, diced small red onion, diced 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped 2 Tbsp lemon juice 2 Tbsp olive oil 2 Tbsp mayonnaise 1 tsp garlic powder salt & pepper to taste bread; I used a sturdy Sourdough Mix together all ingredients except Sourdough. Spread onto bread and enjoy!!
